About

I am passionate about building highly efficient machine learning systems and distributed systems.

I am an incoming M.S. student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

Currently, I am a visiting researcher in the Distributed and Storage Systems Lab at UIUC, working with Ram Alagappan and Aishwarya Ganesan on optimizing distributed vector search. I am also a team member of Reboot, a novel framework for building reactive backends out of durable data structures that safely compose into scalable distributed systems.

Previously, I was advised by Ion Stoica in the Sky Computing Lab at UC Berkeley, where I also worked closely with Jaewan Hong, Frank Luan, and Benjamin Hindman on various topics, including distributed remote memory, RPCs, shuffle, and Pub/Sub systems.
