I am a first year M.S. student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where I work with Fan Lai on machine learning systems. Lately, I have been researching techniques to improve the performance (e2e latency, ttft, etc.) of agentic systems while preserving their quality.

Recently, I was a visiting researcher in the Distributed and Storage Systems Lab at UIUC, where I worked with Ram Alagappan and Aishwarya Ganesan on shared logs. I was also an early team member of Reboot, a novel programming framework that provides developers a way to build safe and scalable full-stack agent applications by enabling transactional microservices.

In my previous life, I was advised by Ion Stoica in the Sky Computing Lab at UC Berkeley, where I also worked closely with Yifan Qiao, Jaewan Hong, Frank Luan, and Benjamin Hindman on various topics, including GPU resource sharing, distributed remote memory, RPCs, shuffle systems, and Pub/Sub systems.

A few miscelleneous things about my life:

• I am training for a marathon! My goal is to run the London Marathon.
• I am also trying to travel to new places more often! Check out the places I've visited here.
• I play badminton pretty frequently.
